Video Editors and DVD movie maker software...?
Hi i want the name of the professional video editing software that most professionals use(may be with features as conversion to HD). For video file editing, cutting, converting to HD quality and making a DVD movie if possible.
Please suggest me the professional video editor software appz that most professionals use.

Sony Vegas Pro is an excellent option for professional video editing. The latest version is Vegas 12, but personally I use Vegas 10. I had issues with rendering videos in 11 and have yet to try 12. I will probably stick with 10 as it is in basic human nature to not like change.
Sony also has DVD Architect, a DVD authoring program. This program is tailored to work directly with Vegas and I enjoy this program quite a lot as well. I would recommend using both together.
These programs, to my knowledge, are exclusive to Microsoft Windows.

A professional will use a Bespoke app if they even do it on a pc, there more likely going to do it on a Mac if at all, with something a bit better than sony Vegas.
