Braces problem???????????????

I have a braces problem :(. The molar metal thing on the back of my teeth came off and idk I just threw it out. But my concern is when I got my braces on they put this weird cement thing on it. I sort of feel it there and I also feel plaque. Can this harm me? If so how?

Thanks

Definitely make an appointment to see your ortho and get that band back on your teeth. It'll slow down the process if you don't.

Weird cement thing...? Like a blob of cement on your molars? If you have that on both sides of your mouth, those are molar build-ups, and they're meant to keep you from biting on your brackets because of an overbite. They won't cause any harm, though they are annoying (but of course, brush off any plaque).

If it's only on one side, though, I have no idea. Just talk to your ortho next time you see him.

Hi, It wont harm you but since this band came off those braces right now are doing nothing. If you dont go soon the orthodontist they might add extra time onto your treatment. Good luck

Nah, you'll be fine. Just tell them the next time that you go and get a new brace put on.
