(10pts) Who are some good, unknown (possibly local to you) rock/hard rock/alternative bands?

Question

I love expanding my music library, especially with newer bands that don't have much of a following yet. The bands I tend to like the most generally feature a powerful or overpowering vocalist and then also have good, strong guitar rhythms/riffs to back the vocalist up. There's a band called Skarlett Riot. They've just released their debut album, Tear Me Down. I've been supporting the band for a while now. The Gallows are a band that come from where I live, I've met their vocalist. I think they're a punk band.. I think. Enter Shikari are another band that come from where I live. I don't like them, but I don't really rate them.
