During, and after WW11,denazification was imposed on approptiate people.Did it work ?
Assuming that it was successful, would a similar program for de-islamification work on immigrants and residents of modern day Europe ?
The threat is at least as great.
The ideology at least as evil.

No.
The islamaphobia-phobics would be up in arms.
Any non European culture is said to be enriching to us, the followers are automatically better - as parents, spouses, workers. They are an example we should aspire to and any disagreement earns you a racist, islamaphobe or bigot title.....dished out by followers of Islam and their liberal apologists.

No. Islam isn't unique. It's part of the works-based religious system of the entire world. Even if you could convince everyone that one "flavour" of the works-based system should be eradicated all the other "flavours" would still exist. The unique Christian grace-based faith will never dominate the entire world. Jesus is rescuing a remnant and then He is going to end the works-based ridiculous nonsense permanently. Anyone who says they haven't sinned is a liar and anyone who says they can erase their sins (by doing good works) is deluded.

Personally I would like to see the whole world educated against all forms of religious extremism. From the so called Christians in Dorothy's question who throw babies on bonfires through African Witch Doctors who perform horrific exorcisms on people to Muslims who try blow people up for some weird fantasy involving heavenly virgins. I've nothing against religion if it gives people hope and helps them lead better lives but so often it is used for an excuse for evil.
Maybe the best way to deter would be Jihadists is to get them to talk to this lot. They went to Pakistan to train as terrorists but hated the training camp and couldn't wait to get home to mummy and daddy!

Good idea they should be treated the same way they treat non muslims in their homelands.
