Anybody else get annoyed when people here starts saying phrases in Japanese?
They'll end their questions with "Arigatou" or something (And sometimes they'll even have the balls to say what it means afterwards).
Yes, you know about 6 ******* words in Japanese that every anime fan does. You want a freaking cookie or something? -.-
@Empire539, it annoys me because there's no reason for them to do so. To me it just looks like they think it makes them look "cool" or some other stupid ****. I don't needlessly show off that I can do basic math equations and expect that people praise me for it -.-

I agree with you....I say that they should use the words when they really learn the language itself not just some words they hear in the anime -_-..to be honest..it's annoying..

I don't mind it if it was done in good faith (like a simple "arigatou"), but those that add random Japanese words to their sentences like "can u guys reccomend me any animes i <3 kawaii things desu arigatou :3" annoy me to no end. If you're going to use Japanese, at least use it correctly.
Edit: Well, who knows? The person asking could simply like the Japanese language and have no intention of looking cool. If the question seemed to have been asked in good faith (e.g. no signs of trolling), then it's fine with me. "Arigatou" is no different than just a regular "thank you", and one should expect small phrases like that to crop up (especially in this section, since anime is Japanese, after all).
