cant figure out problem in my car.?
hi there..i have 1988 Pontiac sunbird gt ..few days back i got a problem..it starts really good..but when u put gear(automatic) to drive and push gas paddle its shuts off..even when its in parking mode ..when i push gas paddle all d way down quick its shut down.it wont shut off when u pushing gas paddle slowly .its keep running when i don't touch gas paddle ...and after some time it works perfect..i cant figure it out what should be the problem..even i want to take to mechanic..it works good..help me out please

If it fully shuts off it could be your battery.
If you reverse and it's fine but when you put it into drive and push the accelerator and nothing happens, it's just stalling and it could have to do with gas valve clogs. Once you get it running it should be fine for the day.
