Why won't the internet come on new laptop?
I just bought a used laptop and just can't get the internet to stay on. It pops up but when I try to sign in, it won't let me. I can get yahoo and google, ms whatever, and bing, to come up but they won't allow me to sign in. Why?
I do great with my desktop computer but this is the first laptop I have bought for myself. I have not installed Adobe and will. If you have other suggestions, can you please use lingo for computer illerate individuals?

Sounds like you're having browser issues. You may wanna try an alternative browser such as Google Chrome or Firefox.

Post the brand, complete model number, operating system version of the laptop when asking for help.
What type Internet service do you use, DSL/Cable/Dial Up ?
If the laptop connects to the Internet and stays connected then you should be able to log into your accounts. Have you updated the browser plug ins ? Have you updated the drivers for the laptop ?
Have you checked to see if the operating system has the latest service pack from Microsoft ?
Have you update Java and Adobe as well as any flash players ?

Try installing Java and Adobe Flash Player. Many web sites use those.

You need to sign out and then sign up with new name and new password.Then you just sign in every time you want to use browser.
