Tebow is released by the Jets.. What are your thoughts?

Football or no Football, he is a millionaire. Better than me and a lot of people. I believed he will be hard press to earn that kind of money on another profession. It is the higher up's will and definitely he will be alright. Maybe, professional football is not for him. Good luck to the Jets.

Tebow was a media distraction from Jets poor coaching on offense last yr. Jets never intended to use Tebow except for the media attention. Sparano the O-Coordinator was a poor pick - a run oriented guy - and he made his money & then was fired. Now - the Jets still have 5 QBs and more drama left. Lets hope something can be ironed out by the end of minicamp...

Tebow needs to go to the CFL

I think Tebow's NFL future is in serious doubt... every NFL team has fulfilled their need at QB, seeing the draft has taken place. That said, the only chance for him to get picked up would be right before the season if they're desperate.

About time. Tebow and the Jets had nothing to offer each other, which was obvious enough after one year. With 6 QBs on the roster, he was the most obvious one to be cut.

Tebow will be better off anywhere now. He was not a good fit w/the Jets.

That was a stupid trade from the get go and I knew he wasn't going to fit in that offense. Jacksonville would be a better choice because that's where Tebow is from.

Im happy for him. The Jets never deserved him and nearly destroyed his career and lied to him. I hope he joins a great organization that would give him a CHANCE at least. The Broncos gave him a chance and he exceeded expectations.

Tebow should do what his agent has been telling him for the past 4 years and switch positions. He is a better tight end/fullback than a QB.

DUH! For heaven's sakes, they had 6 quarterbacks after the draft was over! Tebow was one of the highest paid and of all 6, he was the worst of the 6. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what the Jets had to do, especially since no other team wanted Tebow preventing the Jets from trading him.

Tebow can now sign as a wedgebuster for any team now.
