21st birthday party in atlantic city, nj?

Hi everyone! I am planning my 21st birthday on a Saturday night this July in Atlantic City, NJ and I have a couple questions. I've read a bunch of reviews online for the casinos (Revel, Tropicana, Borgata, Harrah's, etc) but I am not sure which place to choose. I don't want to spend an outrageous amount of money but I also want to stay somewhere nice - namely one of the big names (not limited to those listed above but you know what I mean).

It's going to be me and 6 other girls but we only want to pay for one hotel room since I don't really plan on spending much time in the room (so a place where anyone had experience with this would be nice). I just want to know which hotel has (or is in closest proximity to) the best nightclubs for a young group. I don't really want to spend much time in the casino (except maybe after the club closes) so that's not a huge issue for me.

I've heard good things about the amount of clubs in Tropicana but that they're not the best. I also know Revel is supposed to be amazing but rumors are it is going out of business. The Pool at Harrah's is also supposed to be fun but it's not in close proximity to anywhere else in case it isn't. Can anyone confirm/deny this or add some more input?

Oh also I want to hang out at the beach on Saturday morning but I'm willing to give this up if you can convince me the marina (I think Harrah's and the Borgata are down there away from the beach) are worth it!
