have to sign to quit the gym?
i tried calling a local gym to end my membership and told them not to renew my contract. they said i have to come in and sign something in order to quit. they keep charging me monthly, but it is to a credit card that i had to cancel for other reasons so i havent paid in a few months. they said its in the contract that i have to sign in order to quit, but i am very busy and moved further away and cant really make it down there. i explained this to them and they wont help me. what should i do?
i have several saved emails saying i want to cancel, and havent been there in over a year. they wont fax me the form or anything

They can't fax you the form, and you fax it back?
They will want you to pay up to date before cancelling, if so don't give them your new credit card number.
Or send them a registered letter saying you are cancelling, then forget it. They may send you bills but ignore them
