Am I the only person in the world who hates "Special news" reports?

I feel like we have plenty of 24 hour news, and news is all over the internet. My show should not be disrupted to watch news.

I approve of them, but only when they have genuinely urgent news to report. All too often television stations break in to regular programming only to announce some unimportant or non-urgent event. For example, some years ago, some stations broke into saturday morning kids shows to announce the death of Paul Newman. Apart from the fact that 99% of the children watching probably had absolutely no idea who Paul Newman was, the death of an actor, no matter how distinguished, is not an urgent event.
