He cancelled an appearance because he did not want the promised protests and acts of a grand-standanding attorney* to overshadow the actual event.
*in case you don't follow the real, grown-up world...war crimes charges have ALREADY been filed against both Bush and Tony Blair in several courts. The have been tossed out as BASELESS each time.
Judges at The Hague called the attempts "groundless publicity stunts"...
The "warrant" is nothing more than a "call for arrest" writen by a group of publicity-seeking "activists"... It holds no more legal merit than the "#1 Citizen" certificate my school gave me in the 8th Grade...

If Obama's Justice Dept is not going to do it, we should let someone else handle him. I say George W Bush should be shackled in chains, frog marched down Pennsylvania Ave, taken to a plane headed for the Middle East, and then handed over to the people of Iraq for trial for war crimes.

I read that, and it is true, that also explains why he is the only past president that has not traveled to Europe or Asia after leaving office.
