Who should be the starting Catcher for AL in All-star game?

I've narrowed to down to a couple guys, who I think can.

Matt Weiters- One of the best defensive catchers in the game (probably the best, 2X gold glover) but struggles offensivily at moments.

Alex Avila- 2011 Starting Catcher for the AL, Struggles at the plate much like Wieters but he is still great defensivily, like Wieters.

Joe Mauer- Mauer was one of the best hitters not only among AL Catchers, but among all MLB hitters, too. He is still solid behind the plate, and has a great offensive game.

A.J. Pierzynski- Let's face it, Pierzynski (the former White-sox) is good. He is solid behind the plate, and he is very good Offensivily, too. Hitting 27 HR's a year ago.

Salvador Perez- Perez broke out for the Royals in 2012. Hitting 11 homers in just 76 games, and batting .301, he may not be considered a terrific Defensive catcher, but if he gets hot in May, June... he will get votes.

These are the Top 5 catchers in AL, in my mind. Please tell me who you believe out of these 5 (Or somebody I didn't mention) deserves to be the starting catcher in this years all-star game.

NOTE: Mike Napoli, who started for AL last year. I did not include because he is currently a 1B for Boston.

Update:

This just proves how deep the AL is. 7 catchers can start for the AL in the regular season.

It will be the AL catcher who receives the most votes and who is not injured at the time. All Star Games starting players are voted by the fans - whether they deserve it on performance or not.

It's too early to make that determination. In fact, I never place an All Star ballot until the middle of June. By then one or two catchers will break out of the pack. If I were to guess, I'd say the two real contenders are Mauer and Wieters.

NL-Geovany Soto This guy is on his thank you to rookie of the 365 days. merely examine his stats. .352 batting prevalent, 6 homers, 24 rbi's, he additionally has greater hits than the different catcher in all the MLB with 37 hits AL-Joe Mauer he's physically powerful.

For one, Perez is a beast, and has an incredibly strong arm. But, I'm gonna go with none of the above. I think J.P. Arencibia has a good chance of starting, because right now he's at 8hrs a month into the season, so he has a good chance, defense aside. Either one of those two are good.

It's too early to tell, but as of right now, it would probably be Carlos Santana of the Cleveland Indians. Hitting .395 with 5 HR and 13 RBI. Beast.

You're forgetting Carlos Santana. He has the best numbers right now, but Mauer will win the vote.

You forgot the guy in Toronto who's number 2 in HRs in the AL.
