when is the next ps vita coming out?

Considering the poor response to the Vita so far and the PSP before it (it did do slightly better) I highly doubt Sony is in any hurry to make another handheld system. They kind of have their hands full with the PS4 launch. Also, Sony did state that the PS4 might have some dual funtionality for Vita owners. Initial rumors suggest they were thinking of adapting it like an alternate controler, kind of mimicking the Wii-U.

Well considering that the PS Vita is getting heaps of games announced, heaps of updates and has a good reputation then maybe. But probably not, since that the PS Vita is only slightly taller than the PSP so there will be almost no point making a new version of the Vita. Many people are hating the PSP now because of how HORRIBLE it is compared to the Vita, which is good since it means that Sony has done a great job on the Vita. So get a Vita now I recommend.

You might wait for a price drop, but there probably is no point in waiting for a new model. Like most have said, the Vita has been considered a flop by most (not nearly as bas as the PSPgo, but still)

A price drop will be necessary if Sony wants the Vita to make a dent in the handheld. It worked in Japan (albeit very briefly) so I'd be stunned if Sony didn't drop the price ASAP ... might as well wait for it as it is inevitable, and maybe they'll be a new bundle or something also.

Probably never. The Vita was a commercial flop in sales.

Sony will likely make another handheld in the future, but it won't be a Vita.

Not until after the PS4 platform is out. Maybe never. Ps vita was definitely not as successful as psp.

even if there is going to be one, it will be shown at this years E3(June 11)
