How about that Hanley Ramirez' first start for the Dodgers at short stop?

Before he showed up, in the previous 25 games, all the Dodgers' short stops combined had 1 double and 1 home run and were batting at or below the Mendoza Line.

Along comes Ramirez and equals their XBH production in just one game!

So, they (whoever they are?) say he is a defensive liability and mercurial in temperament and prone to sulking, I'll still take that kind of offense from the shortstop position! GO Hanley!

Add, not a baseball question. What's with all these weird questions this AM about non-baseball subjects.

Part 2. Those questions are ridiculous and although the posters think they are funny they are not. every once in a while a poster puts a question in the wrong category, I think we all do that sometimes, but the question can be edited and reposted.

Part 1. One game does not automatically qualify Ramirez for the HOF. He had a good game and it is noted the other guys had 25 bad games between them.

Part 3. My additional comment. Your manager Mattingly has no clue how to manage, as evidenced last week when he left the rookie Magill in the 7th after throwing 91 pitches. Then suddenly pulling him with 2 outs, directly leading to a 2 run homer and a loss.

For me Hanley Ramirez has always be an enigma. Here is a guy with all the talent in the world and he seams to just fade away for months at a time. And the problem is that I can't really figure out what the reason might be. Maybe he has some on going health issues we don't know about, personal problems, or something else that is keeping him from playing up to his capabilities. Whatever the issues he doesn't seem to have his head in the game 100% of the time. I want him to do well because I want to see the Dodgers do well but for me, school is still out on Hanley. Bring back Maury Wills.
