I like Star Wars a little more.

Meh, I don't know. Being nerdy isn't even nerdy anymore. One a scale from someone who isn't a nerd at all to someone that spends their spends their entire salary on collectors action figures and speaks Klingon I'm probably about a 3. I like video games (so does everyone and their grandma) books (again, just like everyone else) and anime and manga. I really, really like science, if being an academic "nerd" applies here.

I am also a huge fan of Lord of the Rings and have been since the movies first came out and I actually read the books.

I like Star Wars, at least the first three movies that came out in the late 70's/early 80's, but wasn't aware that being nerdy was a prerequisite for enjoying them.

Well lol I'm asian & I'm technically a 'nerd' but that's just a stereotype. I'm not much of a nerdy person so I'll say like 5 or 6.

I love both series.

But I'm not that nerdy. Both LOTR and Star Wars are very mainstream, and even most non-nerdy and non-geeky people love them.

7 in the sense that i live and breathe geography and politics and i read more about those topics than i do anything else.

not a huge fan of either. my scifi fantsy novels are the his dark materials trilogy.
