Parking Lot School Scrape (I did it)?
Today in the school parking lot, I had scraped a car while pulling into my spot. No huge deal, seems like a small buff job would fix it - nothing insurance should be involved in (as in deductible would do the job for them - like they're paying out of their own pockets). The girl whose car it was was not there, and my friend was though (he has my side, will not say anything); however, someone behind me didn't see it 100% but thinks that I touched her car. He obviously told her, and she confronted me about it. About my car: it's a Porsche Cayene S and is from '04. That being said, its been through many accidents from my parents so the pictures she took by my front left tire were of previous scratches. I had touched her in the front but was able to rub off the dirt (no scratches on my car). She thinks that was the problem. I spoke to the dean and he said there are no cameras.
I'm reading online that it was in a private parking lot so there's not much she can do. My brother was with me so technically he can vouch on my behalf. The boy who's her witness is not 100% sure either - I'll make sure to emphasis that. So that being said, how worried should I be that I get reported for a hit and run, or that my parents get contacted? Because clearly her damage was minimal, and there was no evidence but I'm afraid that she has a 'semi-witness.' Please help me out!
Some more information: It's in New York. There was no police report, but she has my name, license plate and car pictures. She took pictures of the front left time, but I don't think I scraped her there - those marks were there before, but it does fit the accident. How can I prove it was there from before? My car is full of those marks.

First off, If you hit her then make the discussion about what areas were hit by your car. Be responsible for what you do. You would hate if someone treated you like that why would you do that to them? That is just truly disgusting behavior. Now, if you did not, or contest that you did, hit her front left side (where you claim you did not hit her) then dispute that damage but man up a little bit here. Here is what you need to know, first you should have been responsible enough to leave your info for her. Now you might be in more trouble because you pulled this dumb move. Private parking lot or not you are still responsible for the damage and can be brought to court. Your best bet is to make a deal under the table with her to pay back the value of the damage you caused so this doesn't get your insurance raised. However, if you did that to me and then ran off and lied about it I probably wouldn't be very sympathetic to your needs. If you don't have the strength to stand up and take responsibility you are no man, and will have to deal with that on your conscience.

Well first off if it isnt that big of a deal and its something that can be payed out of pocket you should have fessed up to it but now that you've already been confronted about it and denied it if you do own up to it you'll look like an idiot. Luckily in your case there is no real evidence and no way to truly prove it so the best thing to do is deny deny deny. Don't bring the topic up yourself. Talking about it too much is suspicious. If the girl really thinks you did and thinks its a big deal then chances are she will call your parents in which case you have to decide for yourself if you want to lie or not. If it were me i would commit to the lie 100% and as long as your parents buy it and no witnesses know that they saw it for sure you would be home free and there's nothing she can do about it.
But for future reference leave a note on the persons car and own up to it with a small accident like that you can usually settle with the person for a some money and keep them from reporting it to your insurance.

I have been in a similar situation where someone swore that I hit them when I didn't. I was called down to the PD and an office looked at the damage. He saw no evidence that I hit her so he did not issue a report saying "we are not getting involved in this." So if there was no report filed, then you have nothing to be worried about unless she takes you to small claims court. In that case it is your word verses hers and from the sound of it she would win.
