Why do cities like Chicago and NYC leaders blame other states for gun violence?

Yes, but you are basing this on your own upbringing & effics (I assume) unfortunately their are many people out there who simply do not have the same morals as you would expect a 'normal' person to have. Many people genuinely have no remorse of their crimes no matter how sinister. We will always get people who are just evil and no amount of teaching them to respect others will change that.

The city leaders have a valid point however it wont do much good. In the UK where I live its much harder to get hold of guns than in states, but in every major city there is still a high level of gun crime. This proves that people will always get guns from somewhere if they want, so blaming other states is not the solution.

People DO NOT need guns in the family home..this hiding behind the constitution is only making excuses instead of tighter gun control in your country.
