Algebra II: Rule for nth term?

Write the rule for the nth term in the sequence:

1) 4,10,16,22

2) 3,12,48,192

3) 1, 1/4. 1/9, 1/16

    1) nth term = 4+6(n-1) = 6n - 2

    2) nth term = 3*4^(n-1)

    3) nth term = 1/n^2

    1.n=6

    2.n=4

    x = 6n - 2

    x = 3*4^(n-1)

    x = (1/n)^2
