Serious Question About Autism, Please Help?!?
So I have my question I'm not sure what is wrong with my sister I know something clinically is but I can't figure it out.
I was really leaning towards autism but autism have problems in three crucial areas of development — social interaction, language and behavior.
She has all for social interaction, one or two for language and none for behavior. So seeing she really has a problem in one area I figured this couldn't be the answer. What could it be then? Here are the symptoms/signs for social interaction which she has ALL off:
Social skills
Fails to respond to his or her name
Has poor eye contact
Appears not to hear you at times
Resists cuddling and holding
Appears unaware of others' feelings
Seems to prefer playing alone — retreats into his or her own world
Doesn't ask for help or request things
Things things occured when she was a baby and a little more than half she still has today.
Any Ideas of what it could be.
Thanks answers are greatly appreciated
also if you know what it is, what can you do about it??

I think your sister has Asperger's Syndrome (which is sort of like Autism, but is harder to diagnose since people with it still fit in and interact normally). I'm not exactly sure if it can be stopped, but I think as long as you keep her in a positive environment and help her make some friends in the future, she'll be fine. But you should ask a doctor for an official diagnosis.
