Do you think the points thing is stupid on yahoo answers?

i think its out of order, you should get to ask as many questions as you like. i know they do it to make more people answer questions but theyre a bit stingy i mean like you have to get something like 2500 points to ask only 20 questions. they should atleast give you more questions and not make you work so hard to get more.

i do no longer think of there are stupid questions yet I do think of there are some at here who do say abusive issues to others and make comments that are completely out of line. I in basic terms checklist those to yahoo solutions and enable them to handle them,it particularly is how they get a paycheck for doing their interest in basic terms as all and sundry attempt to do ours. i'm grateful for yahoo solutions because of the fact I certainly are turning out to be an excellent kind of good, informative the help of here, and not even had to ask the question.

It motivates people to answer question for points, but I agree that they shouldn't limit the number of questions you can answer a day.

I only think it's stupid in the sense that you have a limited amount of answers every day.

Maybe instead of limiting answers, they should limit the amount of points you get for answers every day.

    Idiots.

  • No - in fact its a very good system that's controls the spammers to a certain point , it may stuff us up but its the only thing they can up come with to stop them being out of control . so its a good thing

The problem with that is some people will ask the same question over & over because they are so insecure.

You can't redeem them you know, you can't use them like air miles or nectar points. Try not to define your wellbeing by the number of points you have, I think you are taking it all too seriously.

I'd rather make a valid point, than accrue points. All it is, is a form of bling.

Maybe you should try answering MORE and get your levels up instead of asking more and losing points ......

I think that the point system makes it more competitive!
