How do you edit the HTML template on blogspot.com?

How do you edit your HTML template on blogspot.com? When I click edit, it shows HTML, but doesn't allow me to edit.

    Blogger Admin > Template > Edit HTML, When you click edit HTML, it is by default opens in edit mode. If you look at 'Edit template' button, it is highlighted.

    If not then click 'Edit template' button at top. (I think you are missing this point)

    After editing, must press 'Save Template' to save the changes.
