Ex-Girlfriend kicked dent in my mint condition Mustang GT?

Question

Well, my ex-girlfriend needed a place to stay.  We had kept friends since our break up 2 months ago.  No living together or nothing, though.  She came over one night, we were not sexually active, just talked.  Fell asleep, and I told her she needed to go the next morning.  She asked if we "were together".  I said no.  She flew off the handle.  After hitting and pushing me, I said "let me take you back to where you were staying right now".  We went to my car, and she front kicked my door of my 2004 Mustang GT with VERY low miles.  It is my baby.  

I called the cops, she ran off, they never found her.  She threatened to tell them that I HIT her in the face.  Mind you all, my hobby is body building.  No, I'm not a pro, but I'm 6'3", 215lbs with visible abs.  I believe during the time she was hitting me and I had to "bear hug" her (not full force), and fall on bed, she hit something.  

I DID NOT HIT HER AT ALL THOUGH. 

So, that said, she's saying she took pictures of a "bloody nose" that she didn't leave here with and will have me arrested.  Yes, she is crazy.  I only have liability on my insurance, too.  

Any ideas on what I need to do?  I know I should sue her, but I don't know how hard the cops are looking for her.  Also, she is planning on lying by saying I hit her in the face and she supposedly has a picture of it.  She's crazy enough to have done it to herself to frame me.  

What do I do?  I need serious help.  All this happened because I sucked my pride up and gave an ex-g/f a place to stay for one night and I told her I wouldn't date her.  Again, I promise, we had no sexual contact that night.  I am telling this story 100% truthfully because I need the best help I can get.  Thank you, everyone.

Your baby only as liability insurance on it?  Better get better insurance if you are going to hang with crazy people.

She owes you for a repaired door.  Even if you did bloody her nose, she owes you for a repaired door.  Unless you threw her into the door, she damaged your property.  If you did hit her or she accuses you of doing so, that is a separate issue.  Since she didn't call the police and you did, she's going to have a tough time proving you did anything.

Good luck getting any money out of her though.  I would say good riddance to bad memories, pay for the repairs and move on with my life.

What do you do? NOTHING. Get the dent fixed, suck it up, and be glad that you learned a valuable lesson at a comparatively low price. Your calling of the cops is on record already, so you're protected at a certain level if she comes back later and claims assault. It will simply be her word against yours. 
Don't force the issue. Fix the car, and move on with your life. Sorry to hear about it...a mint condition Mustang GT is a thing of beauty.

You can file a restraining order and sue her in small claims.

And how do you know what she is planning on lying about if she ran away?

Also, you may want to think about paying the extra small amount of additional $ each month to have full coverage.

You get in one small fender bender and you can get a heap load of damage costs that "liability only" coverage will not cover. Just some food for thought.

Well 1st tell them the truth 
2nd if they don't believe you ,you can still get a lawyer. Maybe possibly show them this question . (Sounds stupid but it may work) Tell them to give you both lie dector test . Also stay calm you know you did nothing wrong . ,when you see her don't even fight even if she starts yelling remain calm .Thats probably what gets people in trouble in situations like this. The one who is yelling to me would be the most crazy and aggressive . Again just tell them exactly the whole story .Tell them what you typed on here . I really hope I could help you  .
