Do you believe that the Catholic church knew that The King James Scriptures Wasn't for them?

Do you believe that the Catholic church knew that The King James Scriptures Wasn't for them?

Because I read that the roman magastrtes said to Paul that they don't follow their customs.

Sabbath for example.

Acts 16:17-21.

Rome back then didn't follow the Massiah and STILL don't today.

Psst! It's "messiah". And really, they think they do just like YOU think YOU do.

Do you believe that the Catholic church knew that King James was a homosexual and was diddling his courtiers? Did YOU know that?

Could you rephrase your question as I cannot make sense of it. I am a professor of early Church history and will be happy to help you with your question. The King James is simply a English translation of the Bible using archaic language. For your information in that period the Catholic Church has a superior translation in English called the Douay Rhiems translation. Paul was martyred by the Roman Empire as was St. Peter and others during the persecution of the Catholic Church.

Are you asking a question about the Roman Empire in some period or the Church. I cannot tell by the way you have phrased the question.

    God bless!

    <<Do you believe <snip> Wasn't for them?>>

It's fairly OBVIOUS! Any Catholics knows the full canon of Scripture contains 46OT books and 27NT books. Therefore, then the KJV came along, and it didn't have the complete canon of Scripture, it was painfully obvious to every Catholic that the KJV was NOT a "Catholic" Bible!

    <<Do you believe <snip> Wasn't for them?>>

It's obvious now. Why do you think it was any less obvious back in the day?

    <<Because I read <snip> follow their customs.>>

Who's "they" and what are "their" customs" you speak of? Let's have fewer pronouns and more proper nouns, please.

    <<Sabbath for example. <snip> STILL don't today.>>

"Massiah"? What the hell is a "Massiah"?

    You mean "Messiah", dumb ***?

And you realize that Acts 16:17-21 have nothing to do with Rome and the Sabbath, right? It has to do with Imprisonment at Philippi!

Context. You MUST have the Scriptures in their PROPER CONTEXT!

The Catholic church did every thing it could to keep the King James Bible from being published in English to where all could read and understand the Word of God.

God always picks the most unlikely person to do His will. This can be said of King James. The King James Version of the Holy Bible is not under copyright laws. To me it is the best and easiest version to understand. Some of the other translations are too broad.

If you want to squauk about King James, then you can also complain about Abraham, Jacob, Samson, Jonah, etc. These guys were pretty unlikely characters to be doing the will of God or we can say let God work through them.

God even took a talking donkey so He could get through the thick head of a human being and make him listen. Never let it be said that God doesn't use the most unlikely people to do His will on this earth.

Do you have any idea that the Roman Catholic church didn't exist in Paul's time? Do you know that the KJV was written to a Protestant's standards specifically to call the authority of the Catholic hierarchy into question? Do you know that the Catholic Church really doesn't care that Protestants made up their own Bible?

Most catholics don't but I'm sure the catholic church does. The king James has only 66 books and the catholic Holy Bible church has 73 books. :)

Anyone who knows much about the Bible recognizes that the King James is the poorest English translation still in common use, with more than 3,500 translational errors. The translators appointed by King James simply were not expert in the ancient languages, and it shows, on almost every page.

  • The catholic church was started is run today even by the devil! God Himself, the Creator of all things wrote the King James bible! This is the book that people are going to be judged out of at judgement day, whether they kept its words or not, there's a verse init that shows this!

Wow. I can see that history is not one of your strong suits.

The King James Bible was not published until 1607.
