    1) Stopped self-defeat by always reminding myself of my goal. I stuck up pictures and listened to music while exercising to keep myself working. Set myself goals like 'Run 5 minutes on the fast setting, and then you can walk', and it's surprising how well it can work.

    2) Motivation was mostly for myself to look and feel as amazing as I used to. I didn't want to be self-concious or dislike myself anymore. I wanted to love my body again. I wanted to look great wearing a bikini for the summer holidays, and I imagined myself in the new one I had bought while running, which kept me motivated.

    3) Ran 25 mins on treadmill, cycled 10-15 mins on the machine, did a few sets of squats/crunches/situps/pushups/leg/bum toning exercises. Effective because it was weight loss and then toning, and it wasn't very time consuming. Losing weight is great and all but you look better when toned.

    Hope this helps!

    Good luck x
