To get rid of any guy for sure, is by telling them your ex came back and you're trying to work it out. Be diplomatic and say, I had a nice time with you and I wish you a lot of luck. It's gentle, sweet and not anything anyone not in love could go to pieces over. Unless, of course, it's an egomaniac who is so narcissistic he just can't get over being rejected. But, that's a long stretch and I'm sure this is non applicable to him. Good luck
