good co-op FPS split screen for PS3?
any good and new-ish games for the PS3 that are FPS Co-op offline (aka split screen)- ive been looking and cant find any on my own, and borderlands seems good, but seems very very long... i have played: Army of Two + 40th day, Resistance Fall of Man, spec ops & zombies on COD, Kane and Lynch Dead Men, and a coupla others i cant think of
well I do want RPG elements, like in Army of Two and in Kane and Lynch, but i want it kind of straight forward, not like in Dragon Age, or Mass effect, or Skyrim where you get tons of quests and can do whatever you want- I mean some side quests would be nice, not just grabbing briefcases for more money, but still a pretty straightforward story- not just spec ops or zombies like in COD

Yeah the Borderlands games are pretty long [especially with the DLC], but they're fu**in' awesome. They're also FPRPGS so if you don't want rpg elements, then I guess not Borderlands.
There are Co-Op missions for Far Cry 3 though, and the single player campaign and Co-Op missions [and even a free DLC for co-op missions] are really fun. Better than Resistance/Kane & Lynch and CoD and about the same as Army of 2. [Though you can go up to 4 people in Far Cry 3 co-op maps. I'm pretty sure it's only 2 per console.]
Edit: Just to clarify, I meant that the co-op systems are about the same as Army of 2. Far Cry 3's core engine is WAAAAAAAAAY BETTER. [Though Army of 2 and The 40th day weren't too bad]

Do not know for those who tried Unreal event on Xbox but they also have it for PS3. I discovered it is somewhat like Halo. You ought to seize the flag or capture approach factor.
