How much "Exclusive Online Training" is needed to recieve the Post 9/11 GI Bill MHA?

How many online courses, "Exclusive Online Training (No Classroom Instruction)", do I need to take to be eligible to receive the Monthly Housing Allowance while using my Post 9/11 GI Bill? Ive read the website but nothing specifies exactly how much is required. I do not plan on attending any classes just strictly online.

    Different schools do different things.

Contact your Counselor at the school you will be taking classes through.

If they don't know they will put you in contact with the school's VA rep.

Expect: 12 to 15 credit hours per semester.

Undergrad then it is 12 Credits/Hours for Fall, Winter and Spring with 9 for Summer. If you are doing it online then you would only receive 1/2 of the standard MHA amount around $675 a month and it must be full time. If you take 1 full time class in the classroom then you can receive the full MHA for your area.

you must be a full time student. depending on school that is 12 -15 credits.

if they are all online you do NOT get the full Housing allowance.
