Don't you think that excuses for rape in India are disgusting?
If women look sexy, men will rape- is this what they really think? I think those who say that are filthy, evil forces. Why do they say that? Instead of admitting ' Yes what I did was wrong' even after they have been convicted, answer=because they still enjoyed committing rape and they want to make it legal so that they can do what they like.
How dare rapists blame the victims for their actions? Violence is always, always a choice. Even if they were drunk, the rapists should be punished for not controlling their actions.
Even if a girl dresses very skimpy, at the end of the day it's the rapist's choice to rape. If they won't control themselves ( notice I said won't not can't because there is no can't its always can) , the piece of filth should get public death sentence and other humiliating public corporal punishments. Because, this element of being able to control our actions and words, is one factor that makes us human beings and differentiates us from animals. If they will not treat others like human beings then they themselves will not be treated like human beings. You don't respect me, I don't respect you, its as simple as that.
In the riots on the news, I came across the most powerful, amazing quote I've ever seen in my life in this topic, " You raped her because her clothes provoked you? I should break your face because your stupidity provokes me" Whoever's quote this is, its absolutely amazing because it really hits the nail on the head and smashes such filthy excuses to pieces.
I have been following the news since Dec very closely and I cried my eyes out and prayed a lot and found it nauseating and disgusting that these criminals are getting away with murder. I mean children as young as 5?! Is there any excuse for this at all- no way on this planet!
So don't you think that these excuses are disgusting? Don't you think rapists should not be allowed to say this?
Yes absolutely, those people who argue that the rapists have rights- they once did but not anymore because they have lost those rights because they took away someone else's rights. Put it this way- they're only right is to get corporal punishment for what they have done- like castration and hanging. In countries like India we cannot even afford to keep these criminals alive, give them 2 hot meals a day when billions of people are starving and for goodness sake look at the heinous act that they have committed. The punishment will also serve as a warning to other rapists- so they will think twice before they rape.
That's the only way, the country as a whole related to this topic will improve.
If they don't want castration, hanging and death penalty then don't rape. Its as simple as that. No one is going to punish if they don't rape.

Digital Worlds- Oh my goodness, those who think that it is acceptable to rape because animals do it , it is an insult to animals to call them animals, i.e even an animal has more dignity. Therefore, how can these rapists demand human rights to not be hanged and castration for what they have done if they have not behaved like a human? Human rights only apply to humans not for rapists and filthy evil forces. Rapists are not humans or even animals. Animals do not have a conscience so they do things like that. Humans do. That's what makes us human. So your answer was extreamely offensive, disgusting and shocking.

Now you know how the liberal women my age feel. We finally had laws past in 1980 concerning the same exact thing. If you filed rape charges. the police would torture you so much with accusations, you normally dropped the charges. With all the accusations from the family and community; you knew to never discuss it or let anyone know especially your husband.

What about the 6 month old baby in the news last month where the so called "father" raped her, he carried her down the hall, handed the baby to the mother stating "I meant to rape her, but not kill her"...I would like to have seen him raped by the guys in prison, and die at their hands...this is not the only baby that suffered a death like this....take these 3 mexicans that held these 3 girls as sex slaves for 10 years, resulting in one of the girls giving birth. OUR LAWS NEEDS TO CHANGE, throw those 3 in prison, lets the prisoners have their way with them, the next pig that decides to rape, and it is PROVEN he did it, or pigs keeps anyone as sex slaves, you will just be throw to the wolves in prison, they should not get the gas chamber, make them suffer. For those of you that states they have rights, or should be forgiven...don't respond to this, if it was your child, and you loved your child...you should feel the same way, maybe if the laws were a hell of a lot stricter maybe the next SICK PIG will think before they take advantage of a human being again.

Any attempt to justify rape is adding insult to injury.
Sadly, in some male-dominated societies the status of women is very low, and males try to excuse themselves from responsibility for their own actions.by putting blame on to victims - simply because of their mode of dress.
For us in more liberated - and equal - Western societies such FEEBLE self-excusing wouldn't wash with a jury. Lack of self-control would be regarded as weak, cowardly and UN-MANLY - and claiming "I couldn't help myself - she tempted me" UNACCEPTABLE hypocrisy.
If that attitude is prevalent, then rapists should be treated the same way as we treat dangerous dogs.
Attitudes which have existed for centuries are extremely difficult to change - without harsh penalties along the lines you suggest.

Pathetic the reasons are and right you are..In India everybody is allowed to give his justification in eyes of law..But it has to be legitimately proved too..Such excuses have been straight away dissmissed many times as of now by Indian Jurisdiction ..All what is needed is a better mindframe of people and a lawframe by the govt. to prevent such acts in future

if so many are saying skimpy clothes cause provocation in ****** society there has to be some element of experience , wisdom, 90 % may be stupid but not all 100 % . i agree defence of skimpy clotheres is liberty for women and give expression as is said social compulsion to dress and innate desire to undress

The things we hear is just beyond disgusting and tragic. My heart aches for victims of that senseless violence. It has to stop!
