Both are bad, but it's better to brick, because if you airball, you'll lose more confidence in your shot. If you brick, you can still get back into rhythm with some freethrows, an open shot; pretty much a shot with a good look.

A brick by definition is an airball. The term brick was first used to describe a shot that failed to reach the rim, as if the ball was heavy like a brick. The term brick is now used (incorrectly) to describe any bad or ugly shot.

Bricking is so much better trust me. Nothing is worst then Air balling a shot and having the whole gym pointing and yelling "Aiirrrrr Ballll!" at you. Then every time you touch the ball they keep on yelling it. haha
