Justified reason for stealing at school?

hello I am a freshman at a small charter school who recently had a expensive pair of football cleats stolen.angered by that situation, I entered school today with a kind of vengeance thinking that if I stole someone else's stuff that it would make things right.the stolen items were a pair of headphones that cost around $80. I was later snitched out by the same person who told me about the headphones and now I was confronted by the owner and his posse. He was cool about it but things quickly escalated when I initially deny having any involvement. For some reason I thought that showing them my backpack would be OK because I believed the headphones were obscured from view.a big scene quickly Amherst and it ended with the kids shouting Mexican curse words and calling me a thief in front of everybody. I was called up to the office, where I opted 2apologize to the Kid. we supposedly squashed our beef but I feel terrible gilt, as well as being worried about being labled a thief now from everybody. I've had so much s***stolen from me over the years and I was sick and tired of it. What can I do to hold my head up high and forget about this?any help would be greatly appreciated thank you very much

First of all, you need to come to terms with yourself. There is NO justified reason for stealing. Not unless you're homeless and starving, and even that has it's consequences. You need to learn from this mistake. Hopefully this has made you more mature and you know not to do it again. Anger is bad, it makes you do things you wouldn't normally do.

But you have to remember, it was just a mistake. You're a freshman, so 14, 15? You're young and you have plenty to learn. As long as you realize your wrong-doings, eventually you will forget about it. As for the rest of the school, this will pass over in a few weeks. High schoolers are no different than the rest of us. Something happens, you pay attention to that for a while, then something else happens and whatever happened before is forgotten. It'll be okay.
