Account hacked and contact list spammed?

Sometime ago my account was hacked and everyone in my contact list began receiving unsolicited content. I changed my password and the activity stopped. My account name consists of my first & last name however those responsible opened a new account flipping my first & last name and continue to spam my contact list. How do I get Yahoo to close this fake account.

It sounds like your account has been forged. *It may not be coming from Yahoo.* Hackers will use encoding methods so the email appears to be from a particular person or domain to trick others. Please read the following information thoroughly and carefully. You will need to determine this person's Internet Service Provider and then contact them with your information that they are forging your name and email address to send spam. Their Internet Service Provider will take the appropriate measures.

    Please read the full article:

"Determining if your Yahoo! Mail address is being forged:

•It's possible that spam isn't actually coming from your Yahoo! account, but from someone has "forged" an email sent from another account by editing email headers.

•Forged email appears to be sent from your email address, but your account is not actually affected.

•Providers can't prevent it -- Unfortunately, email providers cannot prevent their domain names from being forged, but if fraud is identified, appropriate action can be taken.

To check if an email header has been forged:

    1. View the full header of an email that appears to have been sent from your account.

    2. Obtain the originating IP address in the last "Received" line of the full header.

Note: This corresponds with the sender's Internet Service Provider (ISP).

    3. Conduct an IP lookup through a site like WhoIs.net to determine which ISP provides this person with Internet access.

    4. Contact their ISP to request that appropriate action be taken against their customer."

Unfortunately, they are absolutely no longer allowed to, legally. We have been informed this via the advice discussion board. And asking won't get an answer, both. All they'll do is say 'sure' or 'no' to reinstatement. Have no idea the place you most mostly put up, however 'offensive' just isn't the one thing a great way to get you suspended without any notice in any respect. Precise hyperlinks will, posting about illegal matters (medicines, IDs), posting matters about damage to self or others, threats, and plenty of others. The TOS is the situation the suspensions often come from, if they don't come from repeated violations.
