Floyd Mayweather Jr vs Canelo Alvarez is it going to happen?

www.boxrec.com has both of them with a scheduled date of 9/7/13 at the MGM grand for super welterweight fight. your thoughts?

Update:

Also in Floyds victory over Robert Guerro he won 9 rounds to 3 can someone tell me what 3 rounds Guerro won? It looked like a shutout to me!!

I think the rounds he won were gift rounds because I had Mayweather winning all 12 rounds. Simply because he looked better in those rounds than any of the other rounds.

No one can tell you if they will fight or not. That's entirely up to Floyd, Saul, and Golden Boy promotions. I believe it will because there really isn't anyone he can fight at this moment. Maybe next year there might be someone but as of right now it's just Alvarez. If he doesn't fight him then it's not ducking as haters will say. It just makes sense because of the money and that he is the top guy at Golden Boy Promotions

i don't think of Floyd will ever combat Canelo.it somewhat is a frustrating combat against a great solid youthful guy that he won't have the potential to injury.Mayweather will take the Guerrero combat and in all danger combat Bradley on the 2d date.those adult adult males have not got a lot skill and are not that a lot of conceivable for him.All they are in a position to truly do is make for a frustrating aggressive combat yet they're a notch below the perfect.Canelo is bigger and larger than Cotto and Floyd had all he can look after in that combat,so i doubt he will take the prospect.
