does ipad mini have skype? PLEASE HELP! :/?

so im thinking of buying an ipad mini. but i need skype or whatsapp so i can talk with my family who live in another country.

if ipad doesnt have skype is there any other devices that have skype like tablets or Nexus 7?

please help me i would appreciate your help

    All apple devices can run Skype on WiFi. You may also be able to use 3G if you're paying for mobile data.

    Yes there is a Skype app for the iPad mini but no WhatsApp will not work on it.

    The iPad mini > Nexus 7.
