Job Application Help?

I am a 18 year old Junior in High School about to be Senior, and I desperately need a job. I signed up for I want to say 7 or 8 different jobs 4 months ago and none of them have called me back and I suspect its because on the application it asks your education and i have yet to graduate, so when I go to put "no" on the application for graduating i think that they believe i am a high school drop out do to my age. And the jobs I signed up to my friends at school signed up for and they got called back, but i believe that is because of their age being younger then 18. May I please get some help on what i could do to try to get a job to call me back? My mom thinks I'm not trying to get a job do to laziness and says I got to get a job before summer starts or I'll get kicked out. :(

Where the applications asks your education, write your high school name and the month and year you will graduate where they ask "Graduate?". Print neatly.

Make sure you're dressing appropriately for an interview ~ classic and conservative, neat and clean. Don't wear cologne. Be sure your hair is neatly cut, and shoes shined and heels don't look worn.

Type a resume and print it on good, plain white paper (not copy paper) to look more professional. You won't have any experience, but you can still type a resume. Here's an example > http://smallpersonalbiz.com/resume-template/resume... Just put your personal information in that format, or Google 'free samples of resumes with no experience.'

Apply at all the fast food places near you, summer activity places like golf, swimming, kids' outdoor activity places, etc. Apply with lawn services ~ they're busy this time of year.

Be sure to get dated, typed letters of reference from every boss you work for.

    good luck.
