When will U.S./NATO disclose the UFO phenomenon?
random question of opinion..
Whether we believe, or disbelieve, in the phenomenon of UFO's, and all aspects surrounding them from abductions to portals, so on and so forth.. The question we all want to know, is when will the government step forward and stop denying that there is any phenomenon at all? Whether it be the US, or any other world power.. my personal opinion, the whole cover-up is lead by the US, so it would have to be the US Govt... if someone films an instance of contact or other credible sighting in any country, the CIA comes knocking.. bad things happen, and sometimes people even disappear.. the US it is.. its obviously not Russia or France knocking on doors..
Governments of countries have scrambled jets for years, attempting to chase down these aircraft.. they have been taking away videos and pictures from people for 40 years to seal the evidence.. Generals down to security guards have all testified.. etc etc... yet they still say none of this exists..
So my question, is not necessarily a question.. but a gathering of genuine opinions..
When do you think the US Government will have no other choice but to step forward and announce the genuine existence or non existence of the UFO phenomenon?
What Year? or Decade? a certain Era? certain President? Will it be when/if a UFO lands in New York or similar area, and they have no choice? opinions..

From what I have come to consider and believe is that you cannot ultimately buy into the whole aspect of there being an extraterrestrial existence without first buying into the conspiracy aspect first. They go hand in hand and from some of the earliest reports and sightings of certain unidentified crafts being seen, there has also been a cover up soon to follow. It is a long standing and ongoing exercise in deflect and deny on the part of the powers that be. What makes it all the more interesting is that some of the more compelling accounts have come from both military and commercial airline pilots. Some of the more credible witnesses as they are trained to be able to distinguish a man made object / craft and or something else. Not only that but they are putting their necks and reputations on the line by doing so but they still remain quite solid examples of these witness accounts into this phenomenon. My guess is that it will continue , that there will be more sightings and more excuses and cover ups until there is either some overwhelming evidence that is put out into the forefront which cannot be denied or that there is some sort of disclosure and quite possibly any sort of major event to prompt a disclosure of some sort. If people were to see such an even live on CNN , there certainly would need to be some questions answered about what had been known all along. Take care.

If an alien culture traveled a huge distance to contact us, they are likely far more advanced, so they might pose a danger.
If they have had a track record of abducting and dissecting people, the US would have little choice but to allow them to continue. If the US objected, an all-out war might ensue, and all humans would be killed.
If the US willing swapped human lives and resources for technology, and, with that agreement (with that time) made top secret research labs to develop new technologies and weapons, the US might catch up and stand a better chance to fight back. Do the math. The choice is:
1. kill a few now and win the war later
2. fight the aliens with what we've got and be wiped out.
Certainly the aliens want everything that they came for with no fight or resistance (which is what they might have now).
What would happen if the US announced that aliens were dissecting humans and using them for bizarre medical experiments against their will? There would be panic and vigilante armies would be raised to deal with the issue. That would result in an unofficial war, and that would kill off everyone in the world.
If the US kept the alien issue out of the press, and planted phony alien stories to cover their tracks, only the conspiracy theorists and a few smart folks (like you) would catch on. As long as the government can keep order, and continue relations (as horrible as that might seem), they feel that they have a chance to win.
If the bulk of the world starts believing in aliens, and discovers that they are real, the government will have a huge problem.

Good question, but what if the answer really is that they don't know?
I happen to know a guy who is a retired US Air Force officer now living in Canada. He spent his entire professional life as a military pilot, first with RCAF and then with USAF, and flew some really hush-hush missions in undisclosed places for both countries. He even worked in a place in the desert with no name where nothing officially happened for a while, but due to a sacred oath he took he couldn't say more than that. But he did say one thing for sure. He said that the best way to win a war is to watch your opponent without being seen, and to make him believe you know more about him than you really do.
He also said that if any government claims there is nothing to see but still won't let you see for yourslelf, that thing you aren't allowed to see is a man-made weapon of some kind. Because if they truly don't know what something is, they wouldn't bother hiding it.

Do you not find it suspicious that people who see UFO's are "kidnapped"? Kidnapping adds lure to the story, and means the person who was kidnapped doesnt have to build more info onto their story (which would likely make it look fake) as being taken away by the alleged CIA adds more "credibility" than any amount of story building could. I see it as a great ending to a little story.
You say things like they are fact. However, the things you say are copied from forums. From people who range from people like us who are normal, with a healthy facination in mystery, as we all have, to people who are deluded to the schizophrenic and aspergers syndrome level. A level where atleast in the case of the schizophrenic you make up storys and pass them on as fact. However this is a minority of cases.
Certain things have happened in the skies above our heads, admittedly. There is no denying that. However, much of this phenomena can be explained by natural phenomenon. Ill hazard a guess and say the remaining 5% isnt natural. I would say the next 4% of that 5% is a mixture of knock military aircraft, and unknown craft. If you're the US government and an "pro discloser" person comes up to you going "why wont you admit theres aliens out there!!!" - You're not going to say yes there are, as youre a reputable source and the nation would have to believe you. Alternatively, you cant say "oh no thats not aliens thats our XH232 secret craft!" - They aren't going to tell you its them either.
Assuming you've read up to here, you have to realise how the mind works. The mind isnt a recorder of phenomenon or the world like a camera. The mind is rubbish at that. The mind see's the world depending how its wired up. If you suffer from sleep paralysis you can see "demonic" creatures and "aliens" moving around your bed as if they were really there. Ofcourse this is a deception in perceptive ability as your mind is in a dream state while your consciousness is still active. If you take hallucinogenic drugs, you can see things happening in the world beyond natural capabilities as if it was really happening. Ofcourse the things that a drug user see's aren't really present to the rest of us. These are but two examples of many. Our perception is second hand, its not whats out there its what our mind choses to see. People who have narcolepsy fall asleep randomly and enter sleep paralysis you know? Don't you think this could account for "seeing aliens and time going missing" alien encounters?
Aliens would not want to visit us. We're not that intelligent. To an alien who can travel the universe, stuff like a television or the internet is the stuff of barbarians to them. We're not that much more evolved than a worm to them. Infact they'd probably have just as much interest in a worm. Believe me, its the human minds want for curiosity that makes "aliens" seem lucrative, in logical and common sense terms theres no proof, and no reason for them to visit us, not for thousands of years anyway.

One overwhelming issue is the UFO believer believing the Alien will let itself be controlled by a government.
This in itself raises issues. Why you ask, because you are basing a belief on a human point of view. As we do not know any aliens, we do not know what intentions will be. And the US is certainly not the oy government on the planet.
Now, CIA comes knocking. Proof please.
Scrambled jets. Proof please that they were after aliens.
Governments cannot win. They say there is nothing in the stories, the believers will cry foul. So I do not blame them paying the attention it deserves.

Extra terrestrial UFOs do not exist. If the government comes knocking at you door it will be because you believe in something that doesn't exist. It has nothing to do with UFO cover ups.
