The best thing was taking a cruise from Brazil back to the USA. We got there in time to see the finals of the Samba schools for Carnival( that was my "once in a lifetime" for this yr) and cruised into the Amazon river a bit. It was the best! for this old dog...

Best: Graduating from college yesterday

Worst: Already going through withdrawals. Must find more school like a masters program.

Two weeks on the island of Madeira at the beginning of April.

The temperature was1C when we left Gatwick airport, and 21C when we landed on Madeira.

It was so wonderful to feel warm again.

The best moment in my life in 2013 would be today because I finished school!

The worst is that my Dad went into a coma, and didn't come out. The best is that I now have tangible proof that mind-over-matter visualisation works.
