is the first dead island worth buying?

Yes, Dead Island is a great game. It has good graphics and good gameplay and the gameplay doesn't get repetitive and the single player mode is good. Dead Island is one of the best games of 2011 and one of the best zombie games ever made and one of the best games of this generation of consoles and one of the best Xbox 360 and Playstaion 3 games ever made. Overall, Dead Island is a great game and it won't disappoint you one bit.

I loved it, it all depends on how you play. if your just looking to have fun killing zombies and leveling up i'd suggest his game. riptide was a good game but i still prefer the first one over it. sure there was alot more new features but i still liked it better. also for the 28 days later achievement/trophy you can start the game, disconnect your console from the internet and set the clock forward a month and you can start the game and you well earn it and then reconnect to the internet.

It's as repetitive as L4D.

Beyond that it's just a terrible game.
