Song genres for Semi-Acoustic Guitars?
Hello,
I'm quite new to guitars as I've only been playing for a matter of months and I was thinking of getting an electric guitar. I love the design of both the semi acoustic and Les Paul guitars, and I like playing all types of music, but I'm worried that the semi acoustic has a very limited range of genres which it can play. My question is, what kind of song genres can semi-acoustic play? Jazz, blues, rock, metal, funk etc....?

Please don't tell me not to get a guitar or to get this, I'm really just asking about the song genres for the semi acoustic. Thanks :)

You can play almost any genre with that guitar. Ted Nugent played a hollow or semi-hollow and he had a very aggressive tone. I mean you wouldn't play metal on one, but anything from country, to blues, to rock, jazz, etc. would work fine with this guitar.

It can be used in many. Pop, rock, indie rock, jazz, blues, folk, etc. The guitar is most popular with jazz.
