Are you clicking on to any of the ads now placed directly under Asked Questions on Y!A?

Or do you ignore them?

Update:

I ignore them too. It seems like a desperate act. Is Y!A going away?

If it's a question I can answer, I just ignore them. If, nothing else, I remind myself that it beats the hell out of the talking adverts we had a few years back, and even if you muted your sound, you couldn't do a bloody thing until the ad had played through.

If Y!A is in it's death throes, I'll treat it the same way I've treated some of my favorite bars when they finally gave up; I'll find someplace else. I don't think I'll ever find a replacement for Tipperrary Inn, but I can always find a comfortable place with stools that have backs on them, and a friendly bartender who'll gladly mix me Black and Tans or draw me a Shiner Bock. This really isn't much different; I'll find another forum full of trolls, brain death questions that are horribly misplaced and every now and again a question that's either fun, or worth it to put the thought into for an answer.

I don't really think Yahoo's going away, I think they're simply far more interested in revenue from advertisers than they are actually improving the site. It's akin to the advertisements over the urinals and on the stall doors of many sports bars; a captive audience. The bathroom of Buffalo Wild Wings is about the last place I really care to ponder stretch limos, hair implants, or party vans for hire, I have other things on my mind and other bits of my anatomy.

LOL, no. i've got by no potential considered them. merely get an AdBlocker and you will by no potential see them lower back. ordinary peasy. Problemo solved. ETA: Um. an incredible form of the questions i've got considered right here have been from interest searching for young human beings. till you're a grandma you have have been given an advert Blocker. this is loose and takes 20 seconds to place in. Idk why you do not have one yet i'm fairly specific an incredible form of the youngsters asking q's right here do. If grown united statesare stupid adequate to not have an AdBlock and to click the classified ads nicely then not something you're saying is going to remember besides through fact they're too thick for something to sink in. this is a reasonably pointless element to get all worked up approximately and write out a query that long, tbh. YA is right here to make money, organic and straightforward. this is all robotic with the classified ads. this is not people putting them up. you may get all mad at them in case you opt for yet they're by no potential going to do what you opt for. Sorry.
