Traveling: do these things go in my carry or not?

I'm going on a plane and I'm flying on American Airlines. There are some TSA guidelines saying all our liquids, gels, and aerosols are to be put into containers of 3.4 ounces or less and to be carried into one clear quart sized plastic bag which will be removed from the carry on for screening. I have all of them in the right sized containers but I don't know wether these things are considered 'liquids, gel, or aerosols.'

Concealer

Lip balm

Deoderant

Vaseline

Mascara

Thanks (:

    Concealer:

    - Is this a liquid, gel, cream? If so, then it must be in that bag. If is a powder, then leave it out.

    Lip balm:

    - I simply leave mine in my pocket. No one has ever cared.

    Deodorant:

    - If this is the liquid or gel type, then it must be in that bag. If it is a solid type, then leave it out.

    Vaseline:

    - In the bag

    Mascara:

    - In the bag

    Vaseline and deodorant -- yes

Lip balm - probably; put it in the plastic bag to be on the safe side

Concealer -- that's like lipstick. Do you put your lipsticks in the plastic bag?

Mascara -- yes because there is a liquid-like substance in the tube

Better to be on the safe side than to find yourself stopped for extra and intense screening.

OR -- WHY NOT CALL THE AIRLINE AND ASK THEM??
