Very Harmful. Things are said in words rather than in person and secrets are made behind each others backs. I think people are deleting more messages so their SO's dont see them rather than talk about their problems face to face. Facebook is definitely a fire starter. and not in a good way

Neither really! I suppose if there's something that would upset your partner and it ends up on Facebook, it could be harmful... But me and my boyfriend quite often just chat through private messaging if we're not together, so in our relationship, it's helpful.
I suppose it depends on the couple and the situation..

Harmful. ALOT of misunderstandings are made from stupid things, and often little things are blown up. Causes people to brake up over STUPID things. A relationship isn't to be showed off in my opinion, it is to be cherished by what YOU think of the person and not by what OTHERS think.

Harmful. It takes the romance out of relationships. All guys do now is posting a status with "ah I love my gff xoxo" and that's it. I myself like it way more if a guy asks me out in real life, not via facebook.
Btw, I got asked out via fb and we went out, kissed, and he turned out to be a jerk. And I ended it via fb. Not so social hh.

AWFUL.
Every time I date somebody and I start looking through their facebook, In the next 5 minutes.. "WHO THE **** IS NICOLE!?!?" and we have an argument wether she's his cousin or not. So, when I have a boyfriend I block them..

it sucks and kills them
a relationship is person to person not being 'social' by being 'online' alone
