I'm looking into buying a new desk chair and if anyone has one they absolutely love, please tell me.?
I currently have a Humanscale chair that I like, but thought there might be some better ones to try. I can spend up to $1300 or so. I just really need something that is going to allow me to sit for long periods and not hurt my back.

They are fine chairs.
A lot of back & posture related problems however can be solved with a foot rest, either as a separate item on the floor or as part of the chair.
The separate rests are far less expensive and while there are no Google shopping search results for, 'Humanscale draftsman', the range of draftsman chairs topping results are also a lot better value - Try before you buy though.
Personally I got a draftsman chair because the footrest is invaluable when sitting playing a guitar, but I also built a desk to suit it's height, so there's that..., it's high enough to work at standing.
Foot rests though, kind of the same as propping under your legs with a pillow in bed to avoid backaches. It may seem cheap and cheerful and not as 'flourishing' with executive statement, but it does work :)
Edit: Humanscale do in fact do foot rests - http://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&f...
