doesn't the yahoo guidelines go against freedom of speech?
do you think the terms and rules make our answers limited in what we can say or should say? we have to be careful in how we answer and are sometimes limited in how passionate we can be towards a certain subject.
thoughts and opinions.
so in this case if a private company freedom of speech is limited or not allowed?
I can see your point on a social experiment, kind of like working within the system like we do in real life.

It is perfectly legal for a private company to limit your freedom of speech even though it is annoying. It is only illegal to limit freedom of speech if it is a government institution trying to do so. I know how you feel though, I've had three Yahoo! Answers accounts deleted in the past for some odd reason. I said nothing wrong and when I asked Yahoo! about it, they could not even give me an answer why but said the decision was final.

It's a privately owned company. They can create whatever rules they want. If you just randomly created your own blog, you could say anything. But this is their website, not yours. Their rules.

The website isn't yours so you have to do what they want you to do.
