Why is Sprint's3G so slow in Phoenix, Arizona?
I'm originally from Orange County, CA and sprint has respectable 3g speeds here. However after I moved to phoenix, my phone couldn't load a single webpage. Pandora and songza pause on me all the time, so I did a speed test. The dl/ul for California was 1.95 Mbps/.79 , but in Arizona it's never better than .25/.05 . Why is this? The internet is at least 8x faster in orange county. Seriously, a webpage that takes 3 seconds to load takes 30 seconds in az when not on WiFi. Why is sprints network so bad in Arizona?

Does it show in your phone that coverage is 3G? If not, then you are in a non 3G area. Better get a new carrier if you will stay there for a long time.
