You can't. If he wants to play with it, he's going to. But you really shouldn't worry about it. Here's why.

The Ouija board is a kid's game sold at Toys R Us, and it doesn't conjure spirits any more than Hungry Hungry Hippos conjures real hippopotamuses. There's a lot of myth and hype surrounding this board since many people are easily fooled and would rather buy into the hype than consider this with a critical eye. It works based on the ideomotor effect -- subconsciously you are pushing on the pointer in the direction of the letter you think the "spirit" is spelling. And it works much better with multiple players, since when a few letters are already spelled everybody tends to home in on the same word -- the players are pushing the pointer, not a spirit. And when everybody is pushing the pointer, the illusion is that no one is pushing on it. That's it, that's the whole gag. It fools lots of teenagers, and embarrassingly enough it fools some gullible adults too.

And don't forget to take into account the jokers -- the players who intentionally move the pointer, or the ones that rigged something to fall or tip over during the Ouija session (a little black thread in a dark room can be pretty effective for that). Or just say "hey,I see a black shadow in that corner!" -- everybody will look, and that's your cue to fling the pointer across the room and say a demon did it. This kind of stuff is what Ouija board sessions are all about.

This is since you are actually calling upon a spirit to converse with you. The spirit can claim to be an angel, a deceased relative or the like, but do not be fooled. What the Ouija board connects you with (if anything) will be a demon.

The only real way to be freed from oppression from the Ouija board is through Jesus Christ. Only in him and through him is there victory over demonic spirits. Hey there. I want to start off by saying that anyone who tells you that ouija boards don't work are in denial and are too scared to admit that something outside of their comfort zone actually exists.

You are correct in your assumption that no good spirits come from ouija boards. Did you know it is against God for his angels to contact the mortal world? So any spirit of Christ is not going to be contacting you.... you are in contact with demons and otherworldly entities that are not good. You mentioned that you thought your grandma had been in contact with your brother, but notice how you also said that she wanted you guys to kill your aunt?..... that isn't your grandma..... what your brother is contacting are evil spirits that pretend to be deceased friends and family members to draw you in. It's a trick. It's all a trick, an evil trick.

You should indeed be worried about him. His personality change? That's the evil entering his life. Nothing good can come from playing with ouija boards.

Also, you said someone took their hand off the board piece in the middle......that is bad. There are specific ways to "close the portal," if you will. It has to be done properly to prevent spirits from coming into our world. You need to specifically end the game session by moving the piece to the "goodbye."

It seems that your brother has gone so deep into this that he is not going to believe a word you or anybody says. He's probably just going to have to suffer some bad experience before he realizes that harm can come from playing with those boards. But his personality will continue to grow deeper into the evil unless he is taken away from the source, which is the board. I have never dealt with Ouija boards so I cannot give you much health outside of what I have read in books. I have experienced quite a bit of what you would describe as "supernatural" since turning to God about a year a half ago. I don't affiliate myself with any church...just a firm belief and faith in Jesus. Anyway, one of the things that I have witnessed personally is that prayer is sometimes the only thing that will end up working in certain situations. If it was me personally, I would end up taking the Ouija board and burning it regardless of how angry someone got with me.

The thing about spirits is that once a window is opened, they are free to come and go as they please, and this means that one day it will seem like we have complete control, only to find a week or year later we find ourselves attacked again. It is much similar to an alcoholic who goes through rehab and stays clean for a matter of years, only to find themselves relapsing into a drinking binge or a drug addict overdosing. Spirits know when to attack us when we are vulnerable and weak.

I was physically abused as a child for nearly a decade. It ended up creating a unique psyche that ended in a highly addictive behavior. For the past year and a half I have been clean of drugs simply because I turned to God within my own mind. Oddly enough, it was not until I was clean of these things that I started to acknowledge spiritual warfare actually exists. There are spiritual signs you can find if you overlook the possibility of coincidences and trust that there is more to learn from the things we see and think. You can receive messages from spirits that will help you if you spend more time listening to what your mind is telling you...just don't attempt to communicate with them verbally on your own because this is like an open invitation for evil spirits. It is best to keep your thoughts within your own mind because only God can examine this part of you.

I don't recommend standing in his face for prolonged periods of time, because the devil is trying to distract you from doing things that are the earnest will of God.

It is a very simple thing to do and you will see that it will silence the devil and his evil work. When you work, play, rest and everything that you do, recite this prayer over and over. Get rid of it. Get rid of the board and destroy it. Those who are saying here that it is just a game, not real, are just going with their gut feeling and are not going by first-hand experiences. I KNOW, from first hand experiences, that these can bring evil into the world. Just find where he keeps it and get rid of it. But don't be surprised if it suddenly appears again. If that happens and it gets back into the house, then take it again and break it (or cut it) into multiple pieces, and bury those pieces in multiple areas all around your county. I burned mine, but I heard that the cutting up and burying method is better.
