Yes going fishing for the day and coming away without even a bite isnt unusual . Personally my attitude is when i go fishing . If i catch anything its a bonus for the interest .and if i only get a bite on my line well it too keeps the interest alive .

But the reality is when i go fishing its just for escapism to drop all thoughts and troubles on my mind for one day as its a relaxing atmosphere being by a lake or river .....

Yes many a day i have came away emptied handed and caught nothing which if i was honest didnt bother me one way or the other... ..

Many times! When I did go fishing, it was more about spending time with my dad and relaxing on the water. :) We only ever caught something we could eat once, which was a seven pound carp my sister caught. We smoked ir on the grill; it was yummy! :)

I don't keep and eat the fish I catch, I usually just catch them then let them go.
