Windows 7 reboots instead of shutting down.?
My windows 7 pc sometimes reboots after i clicked shut down. (yes i did click shutdown instead of reboot). That is not such a problem for me, but when it does, it doesn't displays the BIOS/windows logo. So i have to turn it off. Next time i reboot, it asks me to boot into safe mode. My pc is a 2007/8 packard bell imedia. I have added a new PSU with the right amount of connectors, a gtx 660 and new ram. I think that the cheap build motherboard might be giving the problems. Or would it be a hard drive failure?

Restore your system in safe mode if you already created any restore point.since it might possible that system files has been deleted by the virus or recover the system by inserting the win 7 os disc.Select cd drive as a first boot drive when asked press any key, and when prompted check for the option; repair or recover from it.
