I feel bad for my cousin?
My cousin and I have always been close. I haven't talked to her in a long time and I know she's going through a hard time. Her parents , my aunt and uncle , are on the verge of divorce. People have been giving her mom a hard time and my cousin tries to stick up for her. I really feel bad for my cousin having to go through all of this. She doesn't deserve to. People are giving her a hard. I know her parents aren't gonna understand her either. I hate to think she's just down and being put down. I know I should start talking to her. I'm just scared. I don't know why. What should I do?

If you can't call and talk, start by sending a card.........."thinking of you during these difficult times" type card. Maybe she will call and thank you and you can talk........a bit. Then subsequent conversations she might unload emotionally on you. She probably needs someone to listen and not judge her.
