He was a 33 degree mason what kind of stone did the ring have in it can someone tell me please?

You may place any stone you like in it.

The 33rd Degree is part of what is known as the Scottish Rite, which does not exist in some areas.

You can put whatever stone you want in it. I'd recommend that you put a stone in it that reminds you of your dad. Go to a jeweler and look at what kind of stones they have.

There's no such thing as a 33rd degree Mason. There's only 1st Degree (Entered Apprentice), 2nd Degree (Fellowcraft(, and 3rd Degree (Master Mason).

I am sorry to say this but he was a mason and you are not so therefore it will be illegal according to masonic law for you to wear his ring..... But you can ware his ring on a chain around your neck.................... Also the 33rd masonic ring had no stone on their rings So the ring with a stone in was a normal master mason ring.......................................
